About Green Light Literary
Maura K. Phelan
Green Light Literary + Media, LLC is owned and operated by Maura K. Phelan. She has worked in New York City at two major trade publishing houses and was a Vice President of Sales at Random House, Inc.
After returning to the Boston area, Maura held positions at digital content platforms and a marketing strategy firm. Maura maintains the contacts she made with independent bookstores, book distributors and other publishing insiders. She is delighted to be using these connections to work with writers, publishers and booksellers.
Maura holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Literature from Middlebury College and she attended the Radcliffe Publishing Course. Maura is based in Marblehead, Massachusetts and frequently travels to New York City. She served as a trustee for the Abbot Public Library for nine years and is currently the president of the Marblehead Museum. In her spare time she cooks and pursues a variety of outdoor activities.
Known for her honesty, insight and enthusiasm, Maura supports her authors by sharing every step of the publishing process with them.
